Tennessee House Session Cancelled
The headline here is not surprising, nor is the decision to delay the elections in Davidson County for a week or two. Both actions seem rather automatic given the tragic circumstances.
But am I the only one who got a chuckle out of Speaker of the House Kent Williams' e-mail? You know, Mr. Speaker, when people think that you're a moron functioning as a puppet of Jimmy Naifeh, it's probably not the brightest thing in the world to admit that you ran this - one of the easiest decisions for a chamber leader to ever make - by him. I mean, buddy, he was the only other legislator mentioned in the e-mail.
