Sweet Caroline (Da Da Da...)

What a fantastic comeback by the Sox tonight, trailing 7-0 at the 7th inning stretch. Cue Neil Diamond, Big Papi hits a tater to get the crowd back into the game, and J.D. Drew takes care of business in both the 8th and 9th innings. The next thing you know, Boston wins with the biggest postseason comeback since the Cubs gave up an 8 run lead in 1929.
Hopefully, the Sox have saved MLB from a disastrous ratings-killing Phillies/Rays World Series.

As a Red Sox fan, I am currently at the stage where I am making philosophical statements about How Well We Did, how classy Francona is even if he isn't perfect, and thinking about Next Year... you know how it is. But with our season over, it's sad to lose the only thing that could get my mind off of the election. Sigh.

Nice to meet you,
B. Giguere
