Nightmares

I think I might be taking too many unwinnable cases, because now my subconscious is beginning to notice.

Last night, I dreamt that I had been appointed to represent Ophelia Ford.

I might need to make an appointment with a shrink to erase that thought from my mind.

Comments:
Well I am sure that the Ford's are good for the cost of the defense.

It appears you, my friend, are a rare breed. An attorney with a conscious. You must have missed a class in law school?

Your nightmare has merely started. Consider this: your "star" witness is RINO State Senator Mike Williams. You have to examine him and show the Senate acted illegally to adequately represent Ophelia. But he 1)contrary to all the other Republicans, voted to seat her before the election contest was ever decided, 2) contrary to all the other Republican Senators and then democrat Sen. McCleary, failed to vote to ouster her after the dead voters, convicted felon voters, out-of-district voters, voters registered in vacant lots, were identified, and then 3)after dragging his feet as the Chairman of the Committee investigating the election so Ophelia could serve as long as possible, flip-flopped and voted to oust her. [It took him longer than it took the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve the 2000 presidential election]. That my friend is a nightmare of a witness!
