Why stop at gay marriage?

Mark Rose at Right Minded responded at length to a challenging comment from a reader that favored gay marriage and took Mark's argument that gays have the same equal rights as everyone else (the right to marry someone of the opposite sex) personally. Mark, of course, is right in this case, both morally and legally (unless you happen to live in Marxachusetts, in which case you have my prayers and sympathy). Liberals want to talk about the Right legislating morality. Well, this is an attempt to have the courts decree immorality in the face of democracy. Mark also hints at the following: If you advocate for gay marriage and want to stay true to your principles, you must advocate for all kinds of special relationships.

MORE: Even if I disagree with the outcome, this from Denver is at least the right way to achieve legal change.
