UT National Signing Day - Post 5
The Tuscaloosa News is reporting that Michael Goggans will choose Alabama this morning as his school of choice. This is certainly contrary to previous reports that had Tennessee as the winner of his services as recently as Monday and Auburn closing fast last night.
The day is already interesting for Bama. They have lost star LB Recardo Wright to Florida State - this came out of nowhere - and are anxiously waiting word from Andre Smith, the top-rated OL in the country. As far back as last June, I stated that Smith was one of the two players that I wanted the most out of this class. I think that Bama has an excellent shot at Smith, with USC, LSU, and Florida trailing.
